I am new to the “community” but I have a tremendous streak going on. For 318 days I have logged my food and excercise, which has led me to becoming a runner, a slow runner that has dropped nearly 70#! I want to hear about other streaking

In all seriousness, awesome job, man. Awesome job.0 -
Kudos to you. I've been here since 2016 but I recently joined the community, too. I had a tremendous streak going on and dropped it like it was hot for well over a year. Then I started to coast on my laurels. I let many months go by without getting back into the groove.
So I reached out for help from a pro. I needed a successful strategy moving forward. Number one. There's no such thing as the finish line.
Think long term success. Try gentle permanent change for the WIN.
I pulled myself from the brink and rejoined the daily tracking. We have to have a plan to deal with the mind warp that maintenance throws at us. MLK Jr. said, 'If you can't fly then run. If you can't run then walk. If you can't walk then crawl. But whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.'
On the first part of the streaking journey, to whittle my middle I had to grow tree trunks for legs. Muscular legs can help you fend off belly fat. Michio Shimbabukuro, M.D., Ph.D. said so. People with the most muscle mass on their legs have the least amount of visceral fat - the really dangerous kind that surrounds the organs. Compared with smaller muscles, your leg muscles burn more fat before it can deposit around the organs.
So in a nutshell and not the whole bushel, keep running. It doesn't matter how fast you go because you're lapping everyone sitting on the couch at the speed of zero. Keep inspiring yourself and others with all of your good decisions.
