You can read about the mental and physical benefits of cold showers there. Once you hit 30 days, you'll want to keep going, I've stopped counting now, every shower now has the bonus cold session at the end. Where I work at the moment, the "cold" water isn't cold enough, so I have 4 x 1.5 L water in the fridge , a large bucket and ice cubes. I've gone from an "ice bucket challenge" all in one drench to a controlled pour. You feel absolutely awesome afterwards!
