If you have met your nutritional needs for the day, what difference does it make where the rest of the calories come from? Not sure what your goals are (weight loss, maintenance, or gaining), but my hubby is shedding a few winter lbs and is a lifter. His calorie allowance is about 2600 right now. Breakfast & lunch are pretty much all highly nutritious foods and then he comes home & basically lives on ice cream, pizza, & popcorn. I assure you, he's no worse for wear0

No it's not. Eating too much can be hard. Eating food you hate is hard. There is no such thing as healthy calories. A healthy diet is balanced and varied. You can eat any food you like, any time you want.0
