Some of her ideas are still a little outdated though. Cutting out salt and worrying about fat. Eating "healthy". I think she is right about some of the mental aspects of dieting like cheating and not putting yourself into a situation where your hunger gets out of control.1

To be fair, she doesn't "worry" about fat. She explains that oils are super dense calorically and are an easy way to eliminate hundreds of calories when you're trying to lose weight, and suggests that you get your fat from sources you can chew that will be more satisfying.1

Is there anything more satisfying than dipping freshly made bread into olive oil that has herbs and seasoning though?
You are right though. That is probably a good tip for some people. I drizzle olive oil on my salad fairly regularly.2
