Starting over...

Hi everyone, I'm Jessica (or Jessie, whatever floats your boat).

I'm 21 years old, 5'1" and 242 pounds. My UGW is 150 pounds. I've been yo-yo-ing with my weight forever.

I had lost about 20 pounds on MFP about 8 months ago, and then gained it all back.

I need all the motivation I can get, and anyone under 35 with a large amount of weight to lose, or who have lost a large amount of weight would be a great asset to me.

I def need some friends up in this bizatch.

Jessie! You are beautiful no matter what (remember that!) But I know the feeling of just not being comfortable with your body. I am looking to tone up more than actually losing much more weight, but I used to weigh about 200 pounds when I was in middle school. I know the feeling of just not liking it. I'm really happy you're doing it the healthy way, cause I didn't at first. I lost a lot of my middle school weight just...not...going out to eat and drinking milkshakes and soda all the time like I used to. Then I lost an assload of weight at 17/18 because I became bulimic/anorexic. Please please, lose weight the healthy way! You are one of the most determined, awesome chicks that I know, you can do this. I know you didn't even say anything about wanting to lose it quickly, etc..I just want to warn people sometimes! As you can probably tell from my caloric intakes sometimes, I still struggle with the amount of calories I consider 'normal'. 1,200 is supposed to be the minimum amount to lose weight and I still am under it a lot. I like MyFitnessPal cause it makes me...accountable for every little thing I eat or do. Cause I definitely snack more than I ever eat a big, hearty meal. You can do this! Man, I wish you still lived here sometimes! I miss ya!

I am also starting over. I am 26 and weigh 309 my UGW is 170. I am looking for people to help motivate me as well. I motivate all my friends. I had lost 36 pounds but stopped doing MFP and gained it all back plus a few more. Anyone who wants to can add me.
  • Hey Jessie! I'm Clarinel and also 21, we share the same goal weight!
My starting weight was 233 and I just recently lost 2 pounds! It's not much but I'm so proud :) lol
Being cautious of what you eat really does help. Occasionally I have my
chocolate bkz I can't live without it! Lol

I fail at logging in my food diary though. I think it's a good idea to have a small journal with you to write
it down or take a picture of what you are eating and when you're not busy write it in.
