Mfp changed calorie adjustment from fitbit

Yesterday I did over 11k according to my fitbit. Late last night mfp had synced over 9k of those steps and counted it somewhere in the 350 calorie range for the adjustment. Today I get up and it has synced all 11k, but the caloric adjustment is now 0.

What happened?

I did add in cleaning calories because I was cleaning for over 6 hours. But that was all I did with the exercise portion.

    Your adjustment is:

Fitbit calories burned - MFP Burn (activity level + logged exercise) = + or - or 0 adjustment

So by logging your cleaning you adjusted both Fitbit’s estimate of your calories burned (anything logged here gets sent to Fitbit and replaces your Fitbit’s estimated burn for that time frame) and MFP’s estimated burn for your day.

If you don’t have negative adjustments turned on, your Fitbit burn either matched MFP or was actually lower than MFP as the result of logging the cleaning. This results in no adjustment from Fitbit.

If you have negative adjustments turned on, then MFP + logged exercise was the exact same as your Fitbit burn. So no adjustment.

You can always click the little “i” next to your Fitbit adjustment to see the math or if on your phone tap the adjustment I want to say twice.
