Hi Everyone : D
I've been trying to be a fit and lose weight ever since high school, about 8 or so years ago and finally after stumbling across myfitnesspal, I feel like I'll be able to lose the weight I've always wanted to. I find the community here to be extremely positive, and people have some great tips about weight loss and healthy living, I hope I can also contribute
In 2008 my target goal was 70kg, I weighed 75kg at the time and I unfortunately didn't reach my target despite exercising. The following year I went to Japan and lived there for a year, during that time I managed to gain 10kg which I never even really realised until I'd arrived back home in Australia in 2010. My friends and family all noticed the difference in my appearance and I can't say I feel good about it.
At the moment I'm sticking to the calorie intake suggestion given by myfitnesspal, while following the 30 Day Shred programme by Jillian Michaels which I only just began today. My first workout was so challenging but fun! I love it!
I've given up many times, but I don't want to give up any more... I want to start feeling good about myself!
So let's give it our best, together!

I was kinda surprised to see that most people on here were women, but I guess it makes sense; they tend to care more about their bodies than guys do, but I guess I've always been self-conscious about it too. Plus I just wanna look and feel great : ]
