You have tasted the wrong wines.
I find mid range priced wines are best. Reds for me. Woodbridge is my fav.
Nope. I've tried some high grade grape.
some of the stuff I've tried is allegedly some of the best around.
I can't get past the taste. It's pretty easy, I just don't like the taste.
It's okay, I'm a very popular and sober driver when in Napa Valley.
The price of wine has nothing to do with how it tastes to the person drinking it. FYI
yeah, I understand. A close friend of mine is really into wine.
He has this huge climate controlled, wine cellar in his home and spends a lot of time (and yes, money) on finding what is regarded as some of the best wine available.
I've tasted different vintages & labels that are highly regarded.
I think all of it just tastes nasty. *shrug
I had some $8 bottles that tasted better then any of the expensive wines I've tasted. It depends on your taste. I've had some really good French Table wines that I liked way better then the oaky $35 or more.0 -
I enjoy having 2 or 3 bottles of Bonterra organic Merlot or CabSav.0

To be fair, I don't have the most sophisticated palate.
If blindfolded, I wouldn't be able to tell red from white wine.
come to think of it, if I'm blindfolded, wine is going to be the last thing on my mind.

I’m with you. I’ve been dragged to a couple wine tastings and can usually find something I can tolerate well enough to sip a glass, but I’d never willingly choose wine when there are things I find to be better choices, i.e. whiskey, cider, or a good dark beer.

That's even worse.
I haven't had whiskey or rum in probably 20 years.
Coffee in the morning and after that, waters good... maybe with a wedge of lemon.
Beer? Maybe 3 or 4 a year; that should be enough for anyone, right?0 -
