Hello Folks,
Have been advised by nutritionist to go Keto to get rid of inflammatory carbs. I have lost too much weight already, through trying a vegan diet! But now fresh meat is back on the menu! ...And how! So I want to put the weight back on and tone up the muscles a little bit because they have been dormant for over a year of pain. I am not after a muscle bound body like a superhero ... I just want to be able to lift a heavy weight without experiencing chronic pain.
If anyone is reading this in regards to the keto diet then I would be very happy to hear any advice regarding keeping the diet. Specifically, I am quite confused about the macro's and exactly how they are to be juggled until I can spend less time calculating what I eat.
... Oh, and did I mention that I am trying to also be a gatherer ... like wild foods such as sow thistle, nettle, dandelion, purslane, fat hen, callaloo (all of which are growing in the garden!), so if you have wild food recipes then I am interested.
