30 more pounds any suggestions?

I think maybe I should try for 30 more pounds. But I am not sure how to go about it. I am practicing for a 5k three days a week and doing Pilates 2 other days. A friend insist I need to cut out carbohydrates (yes i know people have very defined views here please dont yell at me!) this is not for me. Any other suggestions?

Eat a calorie deficit, do some strength training (body weight if you don't have a gym) 3-4 days a week, and work in some cardio too. It sounds like you're doing just fine. Don't cut carbohydrates altogether. 50% - 40% of your food should be carbohydrates.

Find something you like to do for exercise. That makes it much easier. Personally I like bear back riding for exercise.

I would recommend doing strength training, that will help tone you up and help a great deal in shedding those last few pounds

    Good luck

Just keep doing whatever you've been doing. The people I know who cut carbs to lose weight gain it back as soon as they start eating carbs again.

You don't have to cut out anything in your diet that you don't want! That's the wonderful thing about moderation

Maybe one thing you could do is make sure you aren't eating too many carbs and just regulate your intake. Otherwise, just keep doing what you're doing!

Try to avoid high sodium foods, and drink tons of water if you do eat a lot of sodium in a day! Make sure you are getting a lot of protien! Make sure you are getting at least 30 minutes of cardio in for the day! It seems like you have a great routine in place! If you want to reach goals potentially faster, maybe add a little more cardio in each day? Or you can workout on one of the days of the weekend, but make sure that you are still getting a rest day in!! Go for fresh fruits and veggies when you can! Water, water, water!!

That's all I can think of right now. It just takes time and perseverance.
