Hey all! That summer weather is here and I'm finding myself craving all sorts of foods and drinks that I love during the summer. Help!

Portion control is your friend. Enjoy in moderation.1

So have them, just in moderation to stay within your calorie goals.1

I feel you !! Moderation is key ! I love hot dogs over the campfire, but I only like all beef dogs. Oscar Meyer makes lean beef hot dogs that are only 60 calories!! They taste just as good to me if not better than a normal hot dog. We made those this Saturday along with campfire chicken (marinated chicken, corn, russet potatoes, & carrots) on Sunday over the open flame and it was so good and healthy! Of course I had to have a smore too but I only had one and it was around 180 calories. Lemon water instead of lemonade1

Right there with you! People always say losing weight during the winter is hard but holy hell it’s worse during the summer time. Parties, grilling, cocktails. The desire to just ENJOY yourself is overwhelming. I’ve realized things like hot dogs, chips and salsa, and lean beef patties are not that bad calorie wise. Look up a recipe for grilled lemon pepper chicken wings, it’s DELICIOUS!! Count out your servings and avoid soda. Eat what you like just don’t overdo it. Have fun and enjoy your summer!0

If you are at home use your food scale. I always weigh out chips and dips. I like to put the dips in little ramekins so it doesn't seem like I don't have enough. If you are out somewhere just eat lighter earlier that day or a little less throughout the week. If you eat 100 calories under your goal Monday through Friday you have an extra 500 calories for the weekend. You can also add in a little more activity.0

As already stated, nothing wrong with those items listed as long as you have them in moderation.
Also, summer weather - watermelon, cherries, strawberries, radishes, cucumbers, grilled zucchini, etc. Balance is key.1
