In 16 weeks I'll be traveling out to the Mojave for a 5-day event. I went last year and had a blast, but I was also at the tail end of recovery from ankle surgery. This year, I want to be in much better shape so I can handle the heat easier, be more helpful with setup/teardown, and look cuter.
I have a habit of starting out strong but fading off of my goals. This time around I really need to stick to it. I'll be switching to a keto diet, possibly intermittent fasting as well. Back in college I did keto for a while and I was in the best shape of my life. I'd love to get back to that.
What are some of your tips/tricks for staying on track and staying strong?

My best tips and tricks for staying on track and staying strong is to stop looking for tips and tricks, and instead figure out how things work, and not start out strong.
To lose weight, you just need a small calorie deficit and time.0
