Lately I've been feeling less motivated...

Hi everyone :)

So I've done pretty good the past few months with my diet and exercise. I've lost 25 lbs. so far! But the past couple of weeks, I've felt less motivated. I've been eating 100-200 calories over my limit almost everyday, and even though that's still much better than how I ate before I started my weight loss journey, it still disappoints me.

I've also been skipping more workouts than I used to. And I haven't lost any more weight.
I haven't gained any either, but I was getting used to a pretty consistent 1.5-2lb/week weight loss.

Has anyone experienced something similar to me? What did you guys do to overcome it? I need tips, motivation, advice, anything! Thanks to anyone who replies! <3

I go to maintenance for a few weeks, or just until my brain calms down. Then I get back on the horse

Maybe "your weightloss naturally slows down as you lose weight" is the missing piece of the puzzle.

Try doing something nice for yourself then try to cut your calories even by only 10 or 20 from the day before. This is a journey take it one day at a time !

The last few weeks, I’ve definitely been a little looser on the weekends than I was before. Part of it is life (new baby, events for the other kids, etc), but part is just getting a little worn down. I’ve found being a little less strict with calories on the weekends and just reducing a little throughout the week leading up to it allows me to basically net the same deficit for the week and still not feel so restricted.
