So I’ve done 10,000 steps so far today according to my iwatch but it’s only showing as 8000 on mfp? Any reason? Also it’s giving me 33 calories for exercise - is this as a result of the recorded steps?

I’m not sure why but I’ve had a couple of days this week that the totals are under recorded by 3000 steps0

I don’t know if this is your issue, but when MFP was underreporting my steps it was due to the way the Health app on my iPhone was reporting them. I fixed it by going into the Health app and clicking on “Steps,” then “Data Sources and Access,” and then making sure my Apple Watch was the first device listed under “Data Sources.” When the iPhone was listed first, those steps were being recorded, and since the iPhone records fewer steps for me than the watch if I have them both with me, MFP was recording fewer steps. Hope this helps!0
