^^^ I think they were referring to nutritional value and fibre. Nothing was said about calories

and I stated that one has fiber while the other types of carbs may not. I put in the calorie part. I also said the nutrition profile would be different as well.

I worked for a year and a half in the bariatic unit at work which also helps me in losing weight as I get all this amazing advice too haha.

    1. drink a glass 20mins before your meal and one with it.
    2. protein with every meal no exceptions. It is the key to helping stave off the hunger pangs.
    3. stop shovelling food (a problem I had/have no offence meant). You have to take 20 seconds to chew each mouthful, put your fork/spoon down between each mouthful. Have a leisurely sip of your drink. Another mouthful. Eating isn't a race but shovelling can be oh-so-satisfying. Our bodies need some time to send the "full" signal to our brain to stop that craving urge. You have to be patient and it's hard to fight a lifetime habit of hoovering everything on the plate.
    4. you will have days where like a true addict it's a HARD day and you're sweating and fighting the urge to binge.
    5. some people can eat set mealtimes, others graze and some do inbetween. I find if I eat protein at every meal and drink lots between I am not having to snack. But I am struggling with my sweet tooth.

    Good luck!
