Collagen Peptides

I have been considering making the plunge with collagen peptides. My questions are:

1. If you currently use or have used them, do you feel they have been beneficial to your overall health? What differences have they made if any?
2. Which brand do you use, some are so much more expensive and I am wondering if this is a get what you pay for kind of thing or are the less expensive brands just as good of quality?

Thanks in advance!

I like 'em. I really do. Some of them taste nasty. I've tried several. The better ones taste like nothing but 'something'. Not completely tasteless. I mix mine in morning coffee or afternoon tea or at least hot water that's been put through the coffee maker, not out of the tap. They've help my tendons, knees, hair and skin, bones. First place you might notice is around your elbows. No dry skin. My mother takes them and people think she's had a facelift. Her latest bone density test was really good. Dr. said whatever she was doing, keep it up. Ayup. We're both using vital proteins, unflavored. They help you sleep better at night, you have to try it to see for yourself. My dog begs for them. That's how I know it's not hype. She sits and stares up at the container. I put it on my dog's food, too. That is all.
