after a 10lb gain, I'm back and ready to start over. I think I just had to get to a point where I was doing this for me, and not for everyone else. All motivation is welcome!

Take it from me getting yourself back on track now is the best thing you can do! I was at goal for a few years gained back 2-3 lbs then it was up to 5-7 lbs then 10 lbs finally it was 23 lbs back of the 40 i had worked so hard to lose so I’m back as well.
You can get back to goal and it will be much easier to lose 10 than the 23lbs i have packed on and am now trying to shed again! Welcome back0 -

Welcome back. I am on and off for almost a year. Lost 14kg gained 2 ....what helps to get back is stepping on the scale,lol. I am getting freaked out and I start logging again1

So many of us have ridden that merry-go-round that all the horses saddles are worn smooth from out hindends. I refuse to diet which is a four letter word.
The #1 reason diets fail is that they are implemented so brutally strict right out of the gate that every part of your being rebels fairly quickly. It's that Shock and Awe approach that's a setup for more vicious cycles of dieting and falling back into old habits. Create your own positive food management plan with foods and exercise you actually enjoy. A plan that you can live with for the rest of your life.1 -
I have been going to a lot of parties these days (graduation, birthday, etc.) and keep eating cake and ice cream. I haven't gained any weight, but I am not really losing right now, either. I keep having a couple good days, then eating cake and ice cream. It's my weakness!0
