    I was at Zellers once and the cashier was putting my items through so slowly and about half way through ringing my items she sighed really loud, paused, looked at me and said, "I'm pregnant."

    I think all that I said was, "okay..." I'm fairly certain she was only going slowly because she wanted me to ask about her pregnancy. But she was a stranger to me so I wasn't going to.

    Then each time I went there over the next few months she told me she was pregnant every single time.

    This was a co-worker, who kept deserting me with her patients along with my own because she found it necessary to go get a snack or “put her feet up” at least hourly all night long, and then this morning, kept stopping random people (like the older guys who stock the supplies and clean the equipment in our unit of the hospital, etc) to tell them all detailed stories about her nausea and heartburn and cravings and how it compared to when she was pregnant with her toddler. She only works one shift a week but thinks it “just might be too much” and I was so tempted to start telling her about how I worked full time nights while pregnant with my second, dealing with hyperemesis, and homeschooling a kindergartner at the same time. 😂
