I feel stupid to fear girls sometimes, they don't bite, so why do I feel fear?
Anyway, today I introduced myself to a woman at work and I'm proud of myself for making the approach.
She was smiling, even though I felt really nervous and even stumbled on some of my words initially. I think she didn't mind.. people forget our failures faster than anything, so it's ok!
We're really not all that scary. π She probably thought the "stumbling" was cute. This post made me smile, thank you for posting....now go get her number!3 -

I'm sure this helped with your confidence, good for you! Yes, I have a few that love to disagree with me...is okay, it doesn't bother me as much as I apparently bother them. π2 -

@1sphere are you the type of guy who wants what he canβt have but then when he gets it he no longer wants it, itβs just a game for ego boost? You give me those vibes. π0 -

Oh ok I read your posts wrong. I took it as you finally having the courage to talk to a pretty girl at work, then when the opportunity came for you to get her number you didnβt care for it anymore. My bad.0 -

Other people stick to the people in their own teams, I donβt want to be the same as everyone else.. I wonβt put myself in a box.
This was all just reading way too much into a "quick, fun passing comment." Did I think you should go after her number after 1 interaction? Absolutely not. My comment was not meant to be taken seriously. I'm sorry you felt the need to defend yourself, that was not the intent. I'm even more sorry I'm finding the need to explain myself to people that don't know me.4 -

Oh look, a person that can treat other people like... **gasp** people without expecting it to turn into something sexual or as though the person they are talking to "owes" them something.

Heh, no. I was agreeing with you. In this day and age, it sometimes feels as though no one can have an interaction with someone of the opposite gender without one of the two parties expecting or suspecting an ulterior motive.
Refreshing when that is not the case. Good on ya.2 -

I know it's hard sometimes but you shouldn't always think people are attacking you. You know what? Even if they are... nobody knows you personally here so it doesn't really matter what anyone thinks. When we choose to write things here we have to expect that there will be a opinion on it. Keep being who you are π4 -
