At 5'6 tall with 3kids and in my mid 40s, I am overweight. I want to lose weight not only to get slimmer but most esp.to be healthier! So I started my first ever weight loss journey last May28 with proper diet and exercise and today, I am ecstatic upon seeing good results. I've lost almost 9lbs in just 12 days! I may not be there yet but I'm closer than I've been before. Wish me luck in achieving my goals, Cheers to a healthy living lifestyle! Feel free to add me as well I'm quite a newbie!

You lost some weight, and with it you also lost some fat. Not to rain on your parade, but most of the 9 pounds was water weight. Weight loss will definitely slow down so be prepared. 2 pounds a week is a good rate of loss if you have more than 75 pounds to lose. The smaller you are the slower you lose.
