Hi all, looking for friends. I am a fairly positive person (with moments of intense ...), but looking for motivating buddies as I restart my fitness journey. I am 161 cm tall and about 50lbs/25 Kgs overweight. It needs to go. This is not a cute look.

I went to the gym today:) Day 1/3.

Feel free to post your mini-successes and let this be a board of realism. Like the fear of leaving behind butt sweat on machine seats. :smiley:

    Hey!

    I'm of similar height to you, but about 75lbs overweight.

    I'm starting to fitbit track today as it's my first day trying to stick to the myfitnesspal plan. Not making any real effort to exercise today, just eat right.

    Tomorrow I'm either going to swim or gym (gym membership all sorted!). Although I struggle to motivate myself to go because I'm very self conscious (scared I'll be laughed at for not being as fit as other people or just being watched & judged by strangers). I'll add you as a friend, would be good to share the motivation.
