I thought this was an interesting little tool for anyone who is trying to figure out if their food budget is 'really' as low as they could go, or they are trying to figure out a food budget for the first time, or planning to move and looking at cost of living increases.

You choose your country, then choose from a list of cities, and it will list costs for food staples, and will calculate out what the cost is, both daily and monthly, for one person to get 2400 calories a day. And then there is a 'range' of pricing at the bottom of the page.

Their cheaper end of the range seems to be the absolute the minimum costs that you could find, if you can get the cheapest price at the cheapest store, based on comparing their prices in my area with prices I see around me, at least.

But I thought it was really helpful, potentially.
