I am 38. 250 pounds. 5'5.5" tall. I work sitting on my butt most of the day. Is 1600 too much? I am trying to incorporate low carb more into my diet but it is definitely not a perfection (I had a small slice of raisin bread this a.m.).

What does MFP give you?

At 250 pounds, you should be able to lose weight at 1600 kcal, even if sedentary n
Also, limiting carbs will not help you lose fat faster, assuming your overall calories are the same (you may experience an initial rapid drop off water weight when initially restricting carbs)n4
