Hello.
I am very new to mfp and to exercise in general. I am uncertain on how many calories i should eat.
My data is as follows:
My bmr is 1800 cal.
I walk five miles a day burning about 700 calories.
A total of 2500 calories spent a day.
In order to lose two pounds a week I should be eating about 1500 calories a day. Do i have that right?
Thanks in advance any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Sounds right. A deficit of 1000/day = 7000/week, 3500 calories = 1 lb. Your math is spot on.
But the easiest way is just to let MFP do the math for you. Go through the guided "goals" steps. When you walk, put it in your exercise diary and let MFP "allow" you to eat more.
Give it a few weeks and adjust as needed.
The MAIN THING TO REMEMBER is you have to avoid going down to the 99 on 133 to eat those lobster rolls!
All the best!0
