Hi all, new here. I’m looking for non-food ideas for rewards. Also working to keep screen time low. Any suggestions are very welcome. Thanks!

Obviously, new pieces of clothing as you lose a certain amount of weight. If you like to spend time outdoors, a pleasurable afternoon at a park or local event. A vacation! That is what I am looking forward to!2

It really depends on what you find rewarding, which is as individual as food preferences are.
For example - for me - traditional 'girly' reward things like a mani/pedi, a new pair of shoes, a trip to the mall for new clothes doesn't interest me in the slightest. I'd actually rather stick pins in my eyeballs than go to the mall!
While I was losing weight, I simply visited my local Value Village and got smaller clothes (especially jeans) really inexpensively because I knew they weren't going to fit me long enough to justify the expense of paying full retail. Saved me a twack of $$!
So figure out whatever it is that *you* would find motivational and rewarding. Then do up a little chart and stick it to the fridge door.3 -
Minor or major?
For me: Luxurious bubble bath or visit to my Y for jacuzzi/sauna, professional massage, live theater or music performance, hobby tools or supplies, phone call to a friend I've been too long out of touch with, new workout or self-massage tools/equipment, new kitchen appliance/gadget, visit to someplace free/cheap but fun (museum, public garden, arts festival), indulgent amount of time to spend on hobby activity . . . .
(I'm not keen on clothes, facials, or mani-pedis, but those work great for other women. I like jewelry, but make my own, so that kind of expenditure usually falls under "hobby supplies". If I needed a *really big* reward, I'd maybe buy myself a new rowing shell - some women collect shoes; I collect human-powered boats. ).

I love to reward my hard work with hot looking new workout clothes, cool gear for my bike or a new pair of hiking boots or running shoes.1

What I decided to do, is as I achieve each goal which for me is losing 8% of body weight. I take that number and put it in my mad money account. As I am no longer buying Junk food to consume, I am saving that money so it is there. So lose 8% take it and put to mad money fund. Then if I see something I really want could be for a hobby, new walking shoes. Try something new etc. I will have funded it by my reward system. And when not if, I hit my goal number there is a bonus amount as well.2
