I LOVE that movie! I used to have a cat named Savannah.

My entire family is obsessed with Zorro the Gay Blade and I only recently found out that most people, apparently, haven't seen it. I always assumed it was a staple in the "stupid and extremely quotable comedy" genre.

XXY - Argentine film about an intersex teen. Beautifully shot on the coast of Uruguay.

Goodbye, Dragon Inn - It's a mostly silent film about an old movie theater on its last legs and the odd patrons who frequent the place.

Diane Lane's first movie. She was 12 I think and the kid who played the other lead was French and didn't speak English. he memorized all his English lines.



I also like the Last Starfighter. It wasn't unknown in the 80's though.
