Active calories vs total calories

I track my exercises with an app on my Apple Watch and it shows total calories burned and active calories burned. I was wondering which number I should use when logging my exercise in the MFP app. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

If you have Health Kit connected to MFP, it'll take care of everything0

Just active calories. Your NEAT (non active calories) is already included in your deficit. In saying that, syncing the apps together is so much easier.0

Sweet, thanks for the advice! I tried syncing all my apps together but everything kept disappearing. I’ll just track the active calories until I can figure out all this tech stuff.0

My Apple Watch stopped syncing exercise calories when I update MFP this week. I just log active exercise calories manually in MFP.0

How do you sync MFP and the apple workouts?0
