When weighing chicken legs or wings etc, should i take away the weight of the bone before i log it? I was thinking of weighing it before eating and take away the weight of the bone afterwards.

I weigh the whole thing then weigh the bones after eating and take that away from the whole weight2

I pull the meat off the bone and weigh it. If I eat it on the bone I just guesstimate. I really only eat whole pieces of chicken away from home. At home I weigh the meat off the bone, then eat it. Weird I guess. And no I do not eat the bone, I eat the meat.1

I weigh the portion, and after I eat I weigh the bone and subtract that from the initial portion weight, and log that. It *kitten* my husband no end, but he's never had a weight problem in his life so doesn't really get it.0
