Just downloaded it and am going to start doing it. For reference I am a 5’4 female current weight 254. So far I’ve lost 24 pounds and now am starting to strength train so I can try to maintain my muscle while I lose. I’m not comfortable going to a gym yet but I also know how important strength training is. I don’t want to look like a melted candle when I reach goal

Ha! Love your sense of humor! "....a melted candle WHEN...." I love that....positive thought process reflected by positive language. I have the book "Level Up" and love it. I have not followed his training program. I would only guess that his stuff is on point, but I have legit not done it.

There will come a point when you are comfortable going into a gym. I have worked with several ladies who were mortified going to the gym and I finally got them in and they LOVED it....I took them to the Planet Fitness on Reynolda here in Winston-Salem and I know all the regulars (this is more than a year ago.....) and they all welcomed each of these ladies with open arms and made them feel very comfortable. Hopefully you will find that....but only when you are ready.

And, you are correct....resistance training (aka, strength training) is super important. Nutrition is ALL IMPORTANT, though. If I might....focus on that.

Best of luck to you.....post updates as often as you are comfortable doing so.
