Too blessed to be stressed

I joined MyFitness Pal back in 2013, weighing 165 lbs (still overweight for a 5”6 female). I was working out 5 days a week with a trainer and eating a 1300 calorie diet. Well, that’s until I starting drinking heavily, binge eating, and completely stopped working out. My lack of focus, motivation, and priorities caused me to downward spiral into a dark place. Then it all hit me like a ton of bricks! On June 30th 2017, was the day I looked into the mirror and saw a (205 lb, FAT, DEPRESSED, 30 year old lady. The entire day all I could think about was: how in God’s name did I get myself into this hole? Right after work I signed up at the gym and I noticed people walking into an “exercise room”. Everyone was so cheerful, greeting each other with hugs and all I wanted to do was be around that positive energy. ZUMBA SAVED MY LIFE that day! I began incorporating Body Pump classes into my weekly routines as well. Here I am today at 190 lbs (I lost 15 lbs in 6 months only from working out, but now I’m ready to start meal prepping and eating healthier again). My goal is to be 140 pounds and with Faith, positive energy, no alcohol (my downfall) discipline, good eating habits, and exercise: I WILL SUCCEED!!!
