Eating too few calories

Hi, I started to diet around a week and a half ago. I set my daily calories at 1,300 and I was losing weight steadily. Then for the last two days I only ate around 1,000 calories and my weight loss has stalled. Is it possible I’m eating too few calories or is it an unrelated stall?

If it has only been a couple of days you've not stalled.5

None of the above.
It's poor expectations. You will not lose consistently. No one does - it's normal. Stay the course, but be more patient.6 -
Two days is too soon to be concerned about not losing, but it is 100% unrelated to eating too few calories4

Only if your body is stressed and retains water which is highly unlikely after 2 days. It is more likely you are just going through normal weight fluctuations for other reasons. The scale will not show a weight loss each day. It can and will at times show a gain even if you are losing fat.
You don't want to be in the habit of eating too few calories though unless you are banking them to eat another day.2 -
Thanks to everyone who replied, it has been most helpful, I realise that I was worrying too soon0
