Confused about losing my weight

So I just started my journey into gaining weight and the app says I’m good and I’m eating a lot more and I had to poop (tmi) and I’m afraid I just lost all the weight Ive gained in 2 days is that good or do I need to like start from scratch. Answers would be great thanks

When something (poop) leaves your body, the scale will drop. You didn't lose any "real weight". If you're trying to gain, it's not going to happen super-duper-fast, it's going to happen gradually over a longer period. Keep eating at a level that MFP says will help you gain weight. Do that consistently for a month. If you're still not gaining, add a couple of hundred calories every day. Rinse and repeat.
It's normal to losing a pound or two, or gain a pound or two, from one day to the next. It's mostly water weight or digestive contents changing, not real gain or loss. Real gain or loss is the difference from one month to the next, not one day to the next. Try not to stress about it, but be patient and eat at least your target calories.
You may have better luck with questions like this in the forum category called "Goal: Gaining Weight". This is the "Goal: Maintaining Weight" category, where there are mostly people who've gained or (more often) lost weight, and are trying to stay within a narrow weight range long term. Sounds like your goal is gaining weight, so there will be more people there with goals like yours, and good advice about how to succeed.
You're off to a good start by eating a lot more. Keep it up!
