Last July my son got after my wife and I about or weight and told us we were going to die before our grandkids and was embarrassed of us. My wife and I started slow. She worked out once a day 3 to 4 days a week treadmill and I started 7 days 20 min walk at lunch and 20 mins on the elliptical. Food wise no big diets just cut back are food portions, same food just not at much. Still pizza instead of 8 pieces, we have 2. She has done really well. She is at 75 lbs lost. Very proud. Around November I bumped my elliptical up to 30 min 7 days and still walked 29 min 5 days at lunch. I was doing real well until January and got stuck at a loss of 65 lbs. a friend told me about MyFitnessPal and I started 2 months ago and set a goal of 200. I also had bought a used total gym. And added that 20 min a day. I am down to 201 and going to shoot for my weight to be in the 190’s. No big diets. Still eat what we like. Just making smart choices.
