Im using smash potato (powdered stuff)
Getting really confused although it is simple, at the moment i cant figure it out
U make one portion 30g potato plus 150ml water as per instrustions.

Calorie content is
Per 100g as prepared is 58calories

Per 180g as prepared is 104 calories

So as water hs no calorie content the calories ONLY refer to dry potato yes???

So to work out calories on 30g in MFP i just put 30g.???

Sorry if im being a dope

Looking at the info on Tesco website (https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/263778419), I take it to mean that 30g of dry smash is 104 calories. If you make it up exactly as they say and the 'made up' product weighs 180g then it's right. Personally I'd weigh the dry stuff and count that.

There is an entry on the MFP database - copy and paste this.... Smash - Instant Mashed Potato (Dry Weight)...which allows you to log the dry weight you use.

As prepared means with all ingredients. So 180 grams prepared would be the 30 grams of potatoes and 150 ml of water (1 milliliter of pure water weighs 1 gram).
