Vegetarian with High Triglyceries - Go Figure!

I’ve been vegetarian for about 3 years and my triglycerides and overall cholesterol were both too high at my last physical. I read that a lot of us ingest too many carbs, so I’ve been tracking my meals and snacks and got that under control. I’ve lost almost 10 pounds over 5 weeks! I have an appointment with a nutritionist in July (have seen one before) and I’m looking forward to hearing what she has to say about my current eating habits. For once! Also . . . superfood smoothies seem to be a great help.
