Help me refuel

I've gotten off sync with my workout and rest days and wound up doing about 1000cal of workout today (boot camp things morning, run after work; yes, it's a fairly legit number). I have less intense workouts the rest of this week and I'm trying to get myself back on my normal schedule so prefer not to skip... so I know I need to eat well this evening to help me ready for the weekend.
There's only so much Greek yogurt and cottage cheese this girl can stand, and I'm planning on braised pork shoulder steak for dinner, probably with a grain (quinoa?) and veggies.
What are your suggestions for refueling a large deficit?

What do you like to eat? I like things like veggie burgers, french fries, ice cream, wine, and pasta so if I have a day with a larger amount of activities, I'll often eat those things.2

It doesn't really matter, just get the cals you need from a reasonably balanced diet.1 -
Whatever you fancy... if you have your dinner planned out then go with a tub of Ben and jerrys or a few reeses peanut butter cups...
Or warm chocolate brownie and ice cream...1 -
This thread called me...I see it's because someone said "brownie and ice cream" and "Reese's cups."Those are my go-to when I have the calories.
Eat what you like as long as it's in your calories.0 -

Toast with butter, caramel cashew trail mix from Target, big old tub of dried fruit.1

Cheese if you eat dairy, nuts or nut butters, avocados, pasta with rich stuff (pesto?), desserts/treats, carb-y sweet fruits (bananas?), potatoes, sweet potatoes, seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, etc.) . . . .1

I usually eat too much trail mix, peanut butter, and drink wine. Those three easily send me into a surplus. Ice cream and real milk shakes also help.0
