Step counter and calorie burn

So I walk about 21,000 - 26,000 steps a day...
The question is, the calories burned that shows on the tracker, is it acurate? Do we really burn that much? And do you use that as exercise calories?

You haven't given us any numbers to go by, so we can't guess if it may be accurate or not. Typically, the calories burned from deliberate exercise should be recorded. The usual recommendation is to eat back about half your exercise calories.0 -
Without any reference to weight or distance, it's really hard to say what any given step counter might toss out as a calorie burn estimate. If you used GPS type devices to compare, you might be able to get closer to finding out if the step counter is close or not.
For walking, studies show that weight x .3 x miles is fairly accurate for calorie expenditure.0
