Wondering what book you would recommend for someone wanting info on starting Keto

    I would recommend thinking through, and maybe discuss openly, your reasons for starting keto, first.

    I believe that keto is too extreme and is a faddy diet that is difficult to stick to, many will disagree, but nutritionalists wouldn't. It was originally devised to help children with severe epilepsy, it was not recommended for the general population. My advice would be, dont do it. Control your calories and make around a third of them from carbs.

    All weight loss comes from eating at a calorie deficit. ALL weight loss. Keto, Mediterranean, vegetarian, all foods in moderation, etc., etc., etc.

    Choose a method that is sustainable long term. Choose a method that also gives you insights for maintenance because weight loss is just the first step. Look for some permanent lifestyle changes.
