Anyone?

Does anyone feel like they have no energy in the first few weeks. I’m starting to feel like I don’t have a spine

@MakaKoa what do you mean by no evergy?

What is your calorie intake? Are you doing low carb or keto?

1.Are you following the targets mfp gave you?
2.Have you set too large a deficit? - being unrealistically ambitious?
    3. Are you correctly weighing and logging your food intake?
    4. Are you recording your exercise realistically?
    5. Are you eating back a good proportion of your exercise calories?
    6. Are you eating a balanced and nutritious diet incorporating the key food groups and including a variety of food stuff?

If the answer to these questions is yes then you may be unwell.

Maybe a little, but for me it was actually being hungry sometimes, which isn’t a bad thing at all. It’s probably a good thing. I don’t think I had actually been hungry for more than 5-10 minutes at a time in years.

If you have no energy, are you keeping calories too low? Hitting the gym too hard (and maybe not eating any portion of exercise calories back)? Not getting enough sleep? Lots of new people think they need to start at 1200 (or 1500 for men) to make progress. Accurately (and actually) hitting a reasonable deficit is much better than going as low as you can. If it’s miserable, you won’t stick with it.

If you are cutting out carbs then you will feel weak. Eat the calories allocated by MFP and make 30% of them from carbs.

Definitely! I felt like a zombie for the first 2 months of getting back into my younger wiser and more active ways. Definitely worth it though, I've shed 35 pounds in the last few months using this app, free yoga on YouTube, and a pretty lax routine of cardio and weight training at a gym. I'd been decently over weight for around 8 or 9 years, getting back to my early 20s weight now and the more momentum I gain the more that lack of energy goes away. Keep it up, it's definitely worth it!
