Sprints and logging

Does anyone do sprints/walking cycles? How do you log them?
I do roughly 30 sec sprints, followed by 1 min walking back to start. I don't have a fitbit so I use my gps watch and a timer. Right now I'm taking the total sprint time and logging that and the total walk time and logging that. Is there a better/more accurate way? I only do this exercise 1x a week, usually after weight training, so it's not the end of the world if it's not perfect but I'd like to at least get close
