Lost weight and can’t gain it back!

I am in need of some tips. Last year i started anxiety medication (which ended up making me worse, not better) and i lost weight that i couldn’t afford to lose. I stopped the meds in december and have taken a natural approach (cbd oil) to getting my anxiety in check. I weighed about 110 at 5’4 before the meds and when i stopped the meds i was about 95 pounds. Gaining weight has always been difficult for me (thankfully i have made it back to about 101-103 depending on the day) but now it is even harder because i never have much of an appetite and have to sometimes force feed myself.

Any tips on foods that will give me everything i need but i won’t need to eat loads of, or foods that are easy on the stomach? Appreciate it!

    Add olive oil to anything that you can, very calorie dense

    Do you have any food allergies? Do you have any diet restrictions? Sounds like you might have some digestive issues?

    Nuts, avocado, full fat sauces/ yogurt/ milk/ cheese, butter, oil, etc. Medium ground beef and cuts of meat that are well marbled. skin on chicken legs, chicken wings. ribs. pizza. lol really anything to put you in a calorie surplus. If you do some strength training alongside it you might be able to do a nice recomp.

    Technically, a 'recomp' is eating at maintenance and following a resistance training program with progressive overload. A caloric surplus with strength training, to split hairs, would be a bulk! But, point well made!

    No food allergies but i don’t really drink milk, and i’m not a fan of pork. I digest things just fine, it’s just from going from not really eating to wanting to eat i feel like my stomach shrank :(

    Take it slow. Add 100 cals per day or every few days until you are in a surplus. You will start to get used to the increased calorie amount.

    Peanut butter and if you make salads, be generous with olive oil, put some nuts in there too.

    And, if you are feeling really zesty, add 1/2 avocado (or, dare I say it.....one full avocado).

    Or if you want to mix it up there is also almond butter. If you want to add calories and aren't worrying so much about protein you should go ahead and slather some nutella on things, or cookie butter from trader joes.

    Also croissants are so light and fluffy it is like eating air, you could put some pB on that or nutella.

    Add protein powder to cookies?
