How many times a day should i eat When trying to gain weight? And what should i eat?

You should eat as many meals you want that puts you in your surplus of calories and hitting your minimum macronutrient goals5

I used to eat five or six meals. Then went Keto and ate four meals. Mostly because of IF. But eat as many times as you choose....just ensure that (1) you stay within your caloric boundary and (2) you hit your macros (+/- 10%).
Are you bulking? That can actually be rough at first. Kinda like increasing your water intake. You reach that number where if you even see a glass of water or hear water running you start to panic. Same with food!

When trying to gain weight, it would still be good to eat a balanced diet, but calorie dense foods can certainly help.1
