I used to think I was crazy because it seemed my eyes change from grey to blue... then I discovered that there's no such thing as blue eyes... everybody has brown eyes.

No, this isn't my eye. These are my eye colours but they always appear either blue or green until you get closer and then you can see the different colours.
That’s how my hubs eyes are and my youngest. But more of a greenish blue, they change colors. Sooooooo pretty!

The blue is due to the refractive structure of the iris. It’s reflected light, not pigment.
Green is a mixture of the blue and brown.
Grey is from collagen in the iris, scattering the light.
Mine are hazel; mongrel eyes.

Mine are normally this colour but they change. I sometimes have lighter blue, green, blue grey, or just straight grey
