Also, just try to eat a variety of different foods. Different colors of veggies, different proteins, different grains, etc. Keep everything in moderate portions. I'm not sure there is an exact science to it if that's what you're asking. It's different for everyone as to what is "balanced" for them.

A lot more information would be helpful. What do you like to eat? Do you have any allergies or intolerances? What do you feel you're struggling with right now?

You will need to narrow it down. That question can have more answers than someone may wish to ever read. It doesn't help that my personal theory is that in the short term general well-being is governed mostly in the mind where mid to long term well-being is governed by nutrition. For example I just ate a quinoa spinach vegetable salad. I know it is good for me so that makes me feel good. The actual impact that single serving will have is pretty small. If continually eating this way were new to me, given enough time, I might potentially improve my overall health. Because it is not new to me I am more likely to maintain whatever progress I might have made over a long period of time.

"Variety is the spice of life". Also true with food. Eat a variety of fruits, veggies, protiens, grains. There is a direct correlation to food variety and overall health.
