Hi everybody, glad to be here!

According to the National Recommended Energy and Nutrient Intake Levels the quantity of protein has to be around 15% instead fat 25%, which I feel that doesen't meet my need. I ended up adding more protein and reducing the fat, firstly fot the wrong convinction that a diet fat-free was better than a one with a right amount of fat. But I do not follow that belief anymore and now I'm afraid to introduce a wrong amount of fatper day. I eat 39g of fat daily and my daily intake is 1750. Do you thing that is correct? Do I need to add extra fat into my diet?

You're fine, people eat more fat than that daily and they are perfectly healthy - just make sure it's from reasonably healthy sources and not lots of trans fats, etc!

I would eat more fat if I were you - fat is important for good health. Theres no reason to be afraid of fat.... Get 0.35-0.45g per lb of body weight as a minimum

Increasing your fat intake will be fine, but what is your overall goal?
