Welcome! What worked for me (and just about everyone here that was successful) was being consistent with logging all of the food and calories we eat and staying at or under our set calorie goal. Use the MFP wizard, answer its questions honestly, and let it set the amount of calories per day for you. Then, as you exercise, add those calories in either manually or with auto-syncing with your app or device, and you will get extra calories you can eat. Most people then only eat back around 50% of exercise calories since those estimates are generally inaccurate.0
