using up croutons?

Any ideas for using up croutons, besides green salad? I've made English summer pudding two weekends in a row (one dinner party at my place, another dinner party where I volunteered to bring dessert) and a by product of summer pudding is croutons (from the cut off bread crusts).

    Or if there is another idea for using up bread crusts leftover from an English summer pudding that would be welcome too.

    You can grind them up and use them as breadcrumbs for things that call for it. Meatballs, meatloaf burgers etc.

    They make a nice tomato soup topper.

    You could also use them in an (overnight) egg casserole.

    I'd make stuffing or stuffing muffins.

    Make stuffing for acorn squash or other dishes. Put them in scrambled eggs (replace your toast). Put them on soup (tomato, french onion), make croutons (from the bread crusts) with garlic and parm or cinnamon and sugar and eat them plain.
