Lash extensions....

I think refills are every 2 weeks. I dont know alot about them, but one of my old coworkers had them and it sounded like they were just glued to her existing lashes so i think if you stop they just slowly fall off and thats the end of it. Might be a bit of an awkward phase while some are still on. Not sure about a removal process. I would be really wary of chemicals that break the adhesive near my eye like that if there is0

I think you may be better off asking professionals for answers to the detailed questions. I have a few friends who have done these, and they enjoyed it. The ladies I know didn't get it done repeatedly though...no fills...more like a couple times per year for events and general vanity, and then once the lash extensions fell out/fell off (whatever you call it, but happened gradually as expected) they just didn't do it again.
Personally, I think the more natural the look, the better. One friend doesn't wear makeup (she's more into skincare only) but when she got lash extensions before an event, they were just long enough that she looked like she was wearing some kind of magically terrific mascara and it made her eyes look gorgeous. On the other hand, I have seen a lot of younger (20-something) girls with lash extensions that look so fake they are almost alarming when I see them, and some of the lashes look long enough to impede vision or make it impossible to wear sunglasses (I have normal length lashes and sometimes have issues with mascara getting on eyeglasses or sunglasses so that is hard to imagine with the crazy length extensions).
Like with nails, hair, or anything else, it varies with your personal taste.0 -
I agree with the unnaturally long lashes being weird. Not a fan of that trend. Sometimes when i see ladies like that my eyes start watering just looking at them0

I have a friend that used to have them. She got too close to a heat source and they started to melt on her. I wouldn't do it, but if you do, be sure you do your research. They are costly to have applied and have maintained, and there are some precautions you need to be mindful of.
If you like long lashes, but don't want the fake stuff glued to your eye hairs, try Youngblood mascara. Its what I use, and it makes my lashes look insanely long and full, without nasty clumping.1 -
Thanks all...yeah I am rethinking it. I think there r some good mascaras out there instead....i prefer no animal testing cosmetics so will do some research0

I know some coworkers who were getting them and they looked great but over time it destroyed their real lashes. Scary. ..0

I had them done once like 5 years ago and they looked AMAZING but after they fell off so did a lot of my real lashes and they never grew back. And I went to a good place too. I’m thinking of getting them again in August for a trip but I’m scared my lashes will fall out again. Yikes so just be careful.0
