So when I enter desired body weight and click "take it off by tomorrow" (or whatever) it gives me a number. Is that what I should eat, or should I be SUBTRACTING from that number to get a deficit?@!
Currently 5'9 1/2", 219 lbs ... Which is about 25-29 too much.

Note I have lost about 19 lbs so far, since March or April, but kinda flying blind...0

The number it gives you is your daily calorie budget. Enjoy eating.
By the way, if you hope to lose 2 lb per week, you hope too much. Change the hope to 1 lb per week. It's easier to enjoy.3 -

Mfp factors in a deficit already for you. So eat the number it gives you.
Just be sure to be accurate as possible or it may not work. Get yourself a food scale and learn how to weigh and log your foods as accurate as possible.
