I dont know if its allowed on here or not to ask for donations...but its for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. These are horrible blood diseases that claim lives everyday and the Society is trying to raise money to help these families who have been the victims of these diseases. Please help their cause by going to the website above and donate online. Its is a tax deductable donation! Our "team" has a goal of $1,000.00 to raise for this years Light The Night fundraiser. I will be participating in the walk September 25. Thanks in advance for all who will donate!

Good luck with your fundraiser!! My SIL is a Lymphoma Survivor and we have a team each year at Light the Night also. I think this year will be the first time a actually walk, now that the kiddos are old enough to come along!

My fiance, his mother and sister all have lymphoma. Hi mother has been fighting it for 25 years. They told her she only had a year to live when they found it. They're all really active in the fight here in Boston. I wish you guys luck!

@ goal30Lori Thats awesome! Glad to hear she has been one of the lucky ones. I had a friend who died a few years ago from non hodgkins lymphoma. One of my friends who was his cousin will be joining me on this walk also. They have had a terrible time in their family with both of these diseases. Her grandmother and Uncle both passed away from Leukemia.

What a great cause your working for! My mom died of leukemia six years ago. We meant to get a team together to do a relay for life walk but we just couldn't seem to get it coordinated. If I have any money left after paying bills tomorrow I will send it your way  Thanks for walking!

One of my closest friends (and my boyfriend's best friend from the age of 11) was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins about 4 years ago (on his birthday - he'd gone in to the doc because he'd been feeling achey and he's had a lung collapse and problems with his kidneys for at least 10 years). He's in remission right now, after a year or so of hard slog with chemo and radiation, but the docs have given him around 20 years life expectancey. He's 29 years old but I think he was 25 when he was diagnosed. Even though the cancer is in remission now, he is in pain every day.

I just went to your page and I appear to be experiencing technical issues! This may be because my work computer is from the dark ages, so I will set a reminder to myself to try again when I get home!
